Spotify: If on computer, your adblock should block spotify ads if you are on the website version and not on the app. Currently I do not know of a reliable adblocking method for Twitch. Twitch always tries to block as many adblocking capabilities as possible. ![]() Twitch: This has always been the biggest pain. Search in setting for custom DNS or something similar and set your DNS to "" this may also help your other adblocking capabilities. Mobile ads in games and apps: For removing most ads in mobile apps, I would recommend changing your DNS. Youtube Vanced is NOT on the google play store, so here is a guide to installing it Sadly, I do not know of an equivalent app for iOS. Youtube mobile: If you are on android, I would highly recommend the app Youtube Vanced, it blocks all ads, allows for background play, and even has sponsorblock baked into it if you turn it on in the settings. YouTube: If you are browsing on PC, I would recommend combining the reccomendations for browsers but also add in the extension "sponsorblock" this will automatically skip ads that the creator adds into the video such VPN ads. If you want to tinker a bit more, I would also recommend adding the extension uBlock Origin. It is available on PC, mac, iOS and android so it is a great start. So I see a lot of information about blocking ads is kind of spread around a lot of different places so I want to create a repository to put as many of these different practices together.īrowser: For people who dont want tinker much, I would recommend brave, it is not the best solution, but it is by far the easiest with a great built in adblocker. ![]()
